 The Story  Deb McMahon remembers the painful night she told her young daughters she had breast cancer. “Promise you won’t die?” begged her 9-year-old. “I promise“ said Deb, who later prayed and made a pact with God. “Let me live, and I promise to help other women,” she vowed. Deb's very close friend passed away from Breast Cancer; exactly one year to the day after Deb found her lump. 5 years after her battle, her sister, Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer, only to have return 1 year later after treatment. Ten years after beating the disease, Deb along with her sister Michelle, founded the WINGS foundation. –WOMEN In Need Gaining Strength-in 2005.
